XCO2 Energy has started a series of free knowledge guides. Our aim is provide architects (and others involved in building design) with a useful set of design strategies and rules of thumb to help achieve sustainable, low energy design objectives.

The first in the series outlines a range of passive design strategies for different climate zones. You can download it here. Please let us know if you have any questions or feedback. Of course, our consultancy work goes far beyond rules of thumb, involing detailed modelling and design recommendations, but we hope this general advice is a handy starting point.

Keep an eye out for more – we will be adding to the series over the next few weeks and months.
