Last week, the DCLG released the long-awaited consultation document on the definition of zero-carbon for dwellings.
Since the introduction of the Code for Sustainable Homes in 2006, the definition, “zero carbon” has been floating around being dragged in different directions looking for a clear-cut clarification. Now, after calls of confusion from the housing industry, it can be seen in which direction the government looks to be heading.
